While in the staffing industry, I coached, trained, hired and developed agency recruiters and sales staff. I managed the strategic personal development of candidates seeking employment, assisted students and adults preparing for a career path, coached the “return to work mom” and guided the forced retiree into their career transition.
With this particular arena, I realized there was a need for deeper discovery of one's self. The core of our beliefs system is the engine to get the jpurney started. That's where I come in.....with a focus on empowerment, addictions and relationships.
The most important relationship is the one with YOU!
Over this tenure, my volunteer work included and has not been limited to Founder/Past President of MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving, Putnam County). Facilitator with Breaking Free Ministry, a teacher in the Children’s Ministry. My current volunteer time is joyfully donated to a non-profit I have partnered with, Unshattered….a great opportunity to work with women who have a second chance in life and have rid the chains of addiction.
Additionally I have 20+ years of working with women in recovery from alcoholism and recovery. This service continues to support me in my own recovery.
I host weekly national coaching calls, as well as facilitate quarterly workshops on Personal Development, Self-Esteem and Empowerment.
Some of the motivational topics I cover during my weekly calls include Self-Discipline, Self-Development, Setting/Keeping Goals, Leadership, The Excuse Party is Over, Adapting to Change, Turning Fear into Power, Are You Coachable? and The Power of Decision and Commitment.
Every Session begins with aromatherapy and mini meditation. This allows for moments to become centered, connect and provide clarity.
Every year I host a themed "Women's Day Retreat". Themes have been "Darling, YOU Are Fabulous", "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" with meditation, dance, laughter and LOTS OF HUGS.
NEXT WOMEN'S DAY RETREAT - AUGUST 2022
I limit my Retreats to 25 to capture the magical spirit women offer each other.
Unshattered is a nonprofit social enterprise employing women who are winning their fight against addiction.
The women of Unshattered make handbags and other textile products out of repurposed items and other high-quality, donated materials. These products are tangible representations of the transformation occurring in their lives. The process of taking pieces of discarded materials and turning them into beautiful handbags helps our artists discover the power of true change, that wholeness can be returned to something once broken.
Unshattered's mission is to give women who are winning the fight against addiction a path forward to economic independence and sustained sobriety.
